IgniteHER: Women in Tech is an award-winning program that was offered to women and gender diverse people entering the field of technology. The program welcomed individuals as they were and offered wrap around services and supports for folks who trained in the field of technology.

ConnectHER: Women in Trades is a project being designed to support women and gender-diverse people entering into the skilled trades. This program recognizes multiple forms of intersecting discriminations that occur for women and 2SLGBTQIA+ people in the skilled trades. GECO is working with a group of representatives from across the country to create programming to help support individuals entering into the trade and to change the structure of the trades to be more welcoming to gender-diverse people.

GECO is working with the Rainbow Optimists on grant funding from United Way to create programming for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth in Southwestern Ontario. The goal is to foster community connections and peer relationships among 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.
